| This card was stamped on April 11, 1931. It shows a scene which does not exist in reality! The editor has generously used his “poetic license” here: This card is shown and described in Jeanmaire's book about the Bernina-Bahn (Fig. 25); Jeanmaire explains that the background was rotated by 90 degrees on this picture and that it should really extend along the right margin! |

| This very old hand-coloured card shows Bernina railcar # 3. Partial operation on the Berninabahn began in 1908, since 1910, the complete route could be used. This card was stamped on August 19, 1912. Note the double “lyre type” pantographs. |
